Lila Milgrom
MSLIS · Archivist · Researcher · Artist
Hi! My name is Lila, and I’m an archivist, researcher, and textile artist based in Brooklyn. My passion for archives stems from my commitment to art and information access, and the belief that archives are powerful spaces for connection, dialogue, where new interpretations of history can emerge. With a background in nonprofit arts administration, my common threads have been to advance arts accessibility, center community, and preserve artists’ legacies. Rooted in an ethics of care framework, I have worked with archives and artists at The Studio Museum in Harlem, Frick Art Reference Library, Pratt Institute Library, Kehinde Wiley Studio, Brooklyn Arts Council, and Interference Archive.
This space is dedicated to projects I completed while pursuing my MSLIS at Pratt Institute. My work reflects my interests in making archives more accessible, with a particular focus on emerging topics
